Jewel prices from a Milan sale, a Florence furniture catalogue, and three auctions that have not yet been held, 12–18 October 2026. Figures are those published by the source. Sales that have not yet taken place are marked as forthcoming.

Milan jewels, with the premium included

Il Ponte Casa d’Aste held Gioielli importanti, auction 799, in Milan on 7 and 8 October 2026. The house took written, telephone and online bids. Its lot pages label a result “Venduto (diritti inclusi)”, so the prices below include the buyer’s premium. The sale page states that premium at 26 per cent, VAT included.

Lot 77, a Nardi necklace of three strands of coral beads, graduating from about 9.10 mm to 18.30 mm, with a yellow-gold clasp and a large coral cabochon, is signed Nardi and offered in its original case, with an expertise. The page gives the weight as about 440.05 g and the length as about 67 cm. The estimate was €7,500–11,000. It sold for €88,200 including the premium. The same page says the lot may be subject to CITES import and export restrictions in some countries outside the European Union. Lot 92, a Cartier collier de chien in platinum and 585 white gold, with pearls and old-cut diamonds, the centre removable as a clip, sold for the same €88,200 including the premium, against an estimate of €10,000–20,000. The catalogue notes modifications, French import marks and a Maison Cartier inventory number. It gives the weight as about 144 g.

Two Italian necklaces in the same session made the same price. Lot 93, signed Mario Buccellati and marked 15 MI and 750, is chased yellow gold with carved emeralds and rubies and round diamonds totalling about 0.30 ct, about 46.93 g and about 40 cm long, in a Buccellati box, with slight defects noted. Estimate €14,000–18,000; sold for €37,800 including the premium. Lot 97, signed Bulgari and marked 402 MI, is a yellow-gold gourmette-link necklace set with a yellow sapphire of 12.81 ct, about 89.79 g and about 39.90 cm long, again with slight defects noted. Estimate €15,000–20,000; sold for €37,800 including the premium. Those Milan assay marks sit next to the silver hallmarks guide.

Two restored panels in Florence

The culture ministry’s page for Opere restaurate in esposizione, updated on 9 October 2026, puts two panels attributed to the Master of 1416 on view at the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence from 6 October 2026 to 14 March 2027, in the first-floor rooms at via Ricasoli 58/60. They are the Madonna and Child with Saints Peter, Anthony Abbot, Julian and John the Baptist and the Madonna and Child with eight angels. The page says the first bears the inscription “MCCCCXVI d’agosto” at the base, which is where the conventional name comes from, and that it was probably commissioned by the Arte dei Beccai. It entered the Florentine galleries in 1782 from the Chamber of Commerce and has been shown at the Accademia since 1915.

The display is curated by Elvira Altiero and Eleonora Pucci. The page credits the restoration of the Madonna and saints to Elisabetta Bianco, with Roberto Buda on the wooden support, and the Madonna and angels to Lucia Biondi, with Alberto Dimuccio on the support. Diagnostic work is credited to Paolo Triolo of Geospectra and to Ottaviano Caruso. The Accademia is one of the stops in the Italy destinations guide.

Florence furniture, not yet sold

Pandolfini’s sale of furniture and works of art, auction 1459, is on Wednesday 21 October 2026 at Palazzo Ramirez Montalvo, Borgo degli Albizi 26, Florence. It has not been held, so there is no price. Gazette Drouot lists viewing in Florence on Saturday 17 October, 10:00–18:00, Sunday 18 October, 10:00–13:00, Monday 19 October, 10:00–18:00, and Tuesday 20 October, 10:00–15:00. The same listing gives a first session of lots 1–86 at 11:00 and a further session at 15:00.

The English overview numbers as lot 230 a pair of Lombard commodes of the second half of the eighteenth century, veneered in burr wood, with a shaped top, front and sides, three drawers and a central medallion framing a trophy, 93 × 102 × 58 cm, estimate €15,000–25,000. The lot cites a comparison in Enrico Colle, Museo d’Arti Applicate. Mobili e intagli lignei, Milan 1996, pp. 74–77, no. 74. Case furniture of this kind is the subject of the furniture guide. The Italian overview numbers as lot 179 four large Piedmontese wall lights, catalogued as probably by Francesco Ladatte, mid-eighteenth century: gilt and chased bronze, a rocaille cartouche, two arms as oak branches in painted metal with porcelain flowers, and circular drip-pans, each 70 × 34 × 37 cm, estimate €12,000–18,000. The note gives Ladatte’s dates as Turin 1706–1787 and calls the attribution probable.

Campo San Maurizio this weekend

The City of Venice lists the antique market in Campo San Maurizio from Friday 16 October to Sunday 18 October 2026, 9:00–19:00. It has not yet opened. The page describes exhibitors of antiques, twentieth-century objects, period pieces, old books, prints, glass, ceramics, vintage jewels and collectors’ oddments, and says dealers from Croatia and Slovenia will be there as well as Italian ones. It places the market in the programme “Le Città in Festa”. Where that campo sits in a Venice visit is in the Italy destinations guide.

Murano glass in Munich, still unsold

Quittenbaum still lists its Murano sale for 14 October 2026 at 15:00 CEST, with more than 140 lots. The page’s countdown treats the auction as not yet started, and no sold prices are shown. Viewing published for Monday 12 October is 10:00–18:00. Among lots not named here last week, the house estimates at €5,000–6,000 a footed cup a retortoli e a fili, catalogued as façon de Venise and probably seventeenth century, and at €2,800–3,800 lot 777, Alessandro Pianon’s Pulcino bird of 1962 for Vistosi. The Fratelli Toso cube vase, the Tobia Scarpa Battuto vase, Ercole Barovier’s Athena Cattedrale case (lot 783) and the Carlo Scarpa a bollicine handle-vase remain in the catalogue at the estimates given last week. Makers and techniques overlap the Murano glass guide.

Genoa bequest sale, still unsold

Cambi’s calendar still lists auction 1250, the live sale of jewels, silver, furnishings and works of art from a charitable bequest, for Wednesday 14 October 2026 at Castello Mackenzie in Genoa. The printed catalogue schedules session one at 9:30 (lots 1–297) and session two at 14:30 (lots 401–805). The English line in that PDF gives the second session as 2:30 am; the Italian heading says 14:30. Viewing on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 October is 10:00–18:00. An online time sale of lots 810–1108 runs 5–15 October. The live sessions have not been held. The Proserpio tureen and the Prosperini candelabra noted last week are still estimates in that catalogue, not results. The Milan marks on those pieces are discussed in the silver hallmarks guide.

Vienna decorative arts, still unsold

Dorotheum’s page for furniture, works of art, glass and porcelain still gives the auction as 20 October 2026 at 14:00 at Palais Dorotheum in Vienna, with the exhibition running 10–20 October and 268 lots. It does not publish a price. The pair of Righetti candelabra noted last week is in that sale, which has not taken place.
